The PostgreSQL installer did not complete successfully.

Good day,

I just downloaded the pokertracker software thought I would give it a go. Now i try to install the postgreSQL but i keeps giving me the message "The PostgreSQL installer did not complete successfully." I did not change any of the setting I looked on the site on how to install it but it keeps saying that same message. Can this be helped i started the 30 day trial and i would love to check it out.

PostgreSQL is the program where PokerTracker 4 will store your poker data so without it PokerTracker 4 can't really do anything so can you please follow this guide to manually install PostgreSQL v9.3 and if it still does not complete successfully it should leave a log file of the failed install on your computer here:

C:\Users\SOME_NAME\AppData\Local\Temp

In this folder there should be a file called "install-postgresql.log", "initdb.log" or something with "bitrock", "postgresql" or "postgres" in the name - send us that file in a Support Ticket. If you do not see the AppData folder when looking for the file refer to this guide.

I actually did this and it seems to be working now. Just testing out how the rest works but im sure ill find out. thankyou for responding so quick.

Old, but make sure to start Poker Tracker as admin. This should fix the PostgreSQL install issue.
