Pokertracker 4 - HUD - Current Table/All History?

Postby Viegaard » Tue Dec 09, 2014 6:33 pm

Hello!

I installed PT4 last night and played 1 tournament.

Today I started using PT4 for real. I ran into a guy that also played the tournament last night, but even-though I have it set to "Set All to Lifetime Stats" - I see no hands / information on the HUD from last nights tournament, only the 11 hands played so far in this tournament.

Does it only show information if the tournament buyin matces? Or why does it not show the information from last night? It is 2 different styles (one was knockout, this one is a normal tournament).

I see the tournament from last night, and I can see the information and look up the player, but on the table in my current tournament, within my HUD I only see the 22 (played 11 hands since I started writing this thread) hands played from todays tournament.

(Sorry for crappy english)

With the default setup you should see lifetime hands.
If you haven't changed any Hud Options, and you're using the same database, then it should show stats from all of a player's previous hands, as long as they were the same game type. (You won't see omaha stats when playing holdem, or fixed limit stats when playing no limit for example.)

If you replay one of the hands from the second tournament (right click > Replay Hand) do you see stats based on both tournaments?
By default the Replayer shows stats from the time of the hand (i.e. any hands played after the current hand won't be included in the stats) but you can change that to lifetime via the Options button menu in the Replayer if you prefer.

1. So if I play against a guy in a 3.50+R tournament, and I played vs him before but in a 16$ Progressive-Knockout, it should on the HUD, on the table show the combined hands/stats (say 41 hands from the 3.50 and 40 from the 16 = 81 hands)?

2. Backup question (for another subject): When Pokerstars after 30 days clears out (deletes the content) my Hand History folder, is it then still saved within the PT4? + I am sending in my computer for repair in 3 weeks, what folder should I copy to save all tournaments/hands?

/ Sorry for being a newb, im kinda new with this :S

(1) Yes, there are no filters based on tournament type, so stats are just combined.

(2) PT4 moves the hands elsewhere when you stop Getting Hands While Playing, so they aren't ever lost. Also, once imported in your database you don't necessarily need the hand history files (though they're good to have as a backup just in case). As to making a full backup, see our Tutorial: Backup and Restore.

But doesn't it only show my own stats from the current tournament?

The HUD shows you your stats from the tournament but for all opponents it's lifetime (unless you enabled filters in Hud -> Edit Hud Options to restrict them).

I wanto to know if there is a way the hud can displays all the amount of hands and stats from a player I have been plying against, cause once I close the session and open a new session tomorrow that stats start on ceros.

As per the previous reply PokerTracker 4 does display all statistics by default for your opponents unless you have enabled HUD filters (HUD -> Edit HUD Options) or are playing on a site/table where the players are anonymous and in that case it is not possible to accumulate data on your opponents.
