upgrade from PT3 to PT4

my question is .. if i upgrade from PT3 to PT4 will i still be able to use pt3? i see that i can upgrade for free BUT i am worried about my PT3 licence too ...

We wouldn't do that to you! Your PT3 license will remain intact and PT3 will work alongside PT4 without any problems. You can keep using it to your heart's content - but once you've used PT4 a little, you won't want to go back ;)
