Help Understanding ''My C All-in Adj'' Stat

Postby mike111202 » Sat Sep 08, 2012 9:37 am

So I'm not quite sure what this stat exactly means. If someone could really dumb it down for me i'd appreciate it. I apologize if this is not the place for it. Basically I think I'm running really bad but I'm not sure. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.

My C is the short for My Currency

and All-in Adj stat (it can also be shown on a graph) is calculated like this:
1. it's the same as My Winnings when there was not an all-in and a call before river.
2. when there was an all-in and a call before the river, the formula is: (my equity of winning the pot)*(pot size). For example if you go all-in before the flop having AA vs KK (around 80% equity) on NL50 for total of 100bbs, the total pot is $100, your All-in Adj is 0.8*100 = $80. So on average you are winning $30 every time you go all-in with AA against KK preflop.

Basically, if your Winnings graph is above your All-in Adj graph, you are running good, if it's the opposite- you are running bad.

However, it's not really accurate, because it does not take into account situations like:
1. coolers, like set over set
2. you have a flush, barrel flop and turn but he rivers a boat
3. a recreational player calls your preflop 5-bet and binks flop
and many more

I hope you understand what the stat is about now :)
