Was working OK now unable to connect

Hi, PT4 was wotking OK till stable release, then all of suden in the midle of the session I am starting to get all kinds of errors, I have to restart program sometimes it helps sometimes not, and now I can not eaven start. it says: unable to login to database bla bla bla, but just half an hour ago was working fine.

Click Start type Services.msc and click on it when it appears. Find PostgreSQL in the list - is the service running? If not, can you start it?
