Just spent 29 hours exporting all hands from old PT4 database and then importing into a new one.

Results?

473k tournament hands in the new vs 753k hands in the old.
11k cash game hands in the new vs 38k hands in the old.

Great. btw, im getting the total # of hands from Notetracker.

The number of hands reported in NoteTracker may only be a subset of your entire database - on the Status tab you can see that by default we only add NoteTracker notes for data from the last year. As a result that number may be significantly smaller than your total number of hands in your database.

If you want to see the total number of hands in your database you want to look at the Results -> Site Summary report. That will show you the total hands in the database for the type of data you are looking at (cash or tournament).

You mean View Stats - My Reports - Site Summary Report?

I get a display of cash games not tournaments.

That's very odd - how did you manage to create that custom report? You shouldn't be able to use "Stake" or "Raked Hands" (for example) in a tournament report.

Kraada meant click the Results section and choose the Site Summary report:

Went to "My Reports" and imported Site Summary report.

I still don't see total hands using Site Summary from Results.

How many do you see in Results -> Site Summary?

For tournaments you will need to add the hands stat to that report. Right click in the report and choose Configure Report. Type "hands" in the Search box and double click on the "Hands" stat to add it to the report.

depends on which screen name i select. i'll just take your word that all the hands were imported. It does suck not knowing how many hands you have in your database as i always thought it was just a simple feature.

It is pretty simple. Just at a guess, have you linked all your alias's together?
