Custom stat: all-in % based on effective stacks

Postby Pasghettos » Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:09 pm

I'm having trouble creating certain custom stats to put in my HUD for playing HUSNGs. I would like stats that show the percentage of the time a player goes allin from the SB when his stack size is within various ranges. eg, 5-10bbs, 10-15bbs.

I'm having trouble with how to define exactly what an all-in bet is. Sometimes when a player jams he will actually leave some odd number of chips left in his stack, like .3bb or something, so the definition of an all-in bet needs to be broader than simply having bet all your chips. Also, sometimes when villain has a chip advantage, he will only bet enough chips to put hero all-in, so the definition of an all-in bet needs to take into account effective stacks rather than just the stack of the player making the bet. I'm thinking if a player raises to greater than 50% of effective stacks, we should consider that an all-in bet for the purposes of these stats.

A little help on how to do this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Due to the way the database is structured, this particular stat can't really be built. However, what you can do at least is to create a note in NoteTracker that gives you the player's range of hands shown down when they did this. All you need to do is set up the player's stack to be in a certain range and then Opponent's stack to be in a similar range.
