Editing Quick Filters in notepad?

Can i edit the quick filters directly at a directory level, and if so where?

Just to add, once in a while you select a quick filter and you see the filter name slowly revolve and then you are on a different filter. It won't alllow you to select that filter until you overwrite it again. only seen this happen with new filters that i created the same day.

Quick Filters are not meant to be manually edited in anything other than the PT4 interface.

Could you tell me a bit more what you mean by "slowly revolve"? I've never seen (or heard of) any behavior that quite matches that description.

it's like the name of the filter is rolling downwards, like the numbers on a odometer. But it skips to another filter name and you can only access it by reconfiguring the settings, then by going into EDIT QUICK Filters, and overwriting the settings. Then it works fine.

Reason I was asking about the filters editing option is that I have created situations that i would like to alter by substituting different variables, like hands, stack size, players, position.

Only way is to delete it then create another which takes very long.

You can load the filter up via the Edit QuickFilters button, then save it as a different filter. Alternately you could save the individual options and load them individually via the Edit QuickFilters button - when you load one through there it asks you if you want to append or replace - just use append.

Would be helpful if you could save an existing filter that you just edited, and it gave you the same name of the original filter. If you try to save it to the same name it warns you of an overwrite. This way you can incrementaly edit filters quickly then having to completely type in the filter name again, after it only gives you a "Quick Filter #72" name option now.

To give you a little more info on the problem of the quick filter that you can't access.

You cannot just rename it or overwrite the problem filter unless you delete one of the filter options within it and then save and apply it. Havn't tried just adding another filter option yet, then saving it.
