OK reset Postgres and PT 4. As soon as I hit record hands while playing I got an error msg saying lost connection to the db. Black Chip was also running. To make matters worse my computer locked up on me and it took me several minutes to get things going again.
Hope you guys can fix this. A reminder that before 4.16 I didn't have any problems.

Are you seeing the same thing after a reboot?
After you get the message about losing connection to the database is the PostgreSQL service running? (Click Start and type services.msc)
Click Start, type Event Viewer and click on it when it appears. Go into the Applications section in the top left and look for errors relating to PostgreSQL. Do you see any? If so, double click them and tell us what the error text is.

WR:
I don't think all of Postgres was installed so I'm going to wipe it along with PT 4 off my computer. Then I'll download them both together so there will be no mistakes.
Sometime in May I'm buying a new Dell 64-bit Win 7 computer. I hope PT 4 is ready for it.
Thx-Geo
