Performance after wake up from sleep mode

hi,

i noticed some performance issues after my rig wakes up from sleep mode. i normaly dont turn off pc and i am using sleep mode/hibernate (i think its S3 state, where data are suspended to ram and also copied on HDD). after waking up PT4 is very slow in works with database. not tragically, but i can easily see the difference.
just wanted to ask if its possible to do something with this issue on your side or if its something with OS/how this sleep mode works?

i am using windows7 64bit.

This is the first time anybody has brought that issue up. How long after waking up from sleep mode do you see this performance hit?

i cant give you proper answer. sometimes i work on pc few hours before playing actualy poker. so its like 9am i woke pc from sleepmode, do other things and lets say at 5pm i am going to play poker. instance of PT4 is running all the time, just minimized on taskbar. its normal for me to have these conditions lets say 7 days in row, till i reboot.
i dont know exactly, if performance slow down is happening after first sleep state or after others. tipically my pc went through few sleep modes until i reboot.

i noticed also popups in HUD takes some time to load in this situation. or lets say it this way: HUD itself works good, popup opens, but all numbers in popup are equal to zero or N/A. so i suppose it is looking into database. after 5 or more seconds real numbers show up. it is little bit frustrating when i play fast tables and lets say i want to check oponent stats in 3bet spots on turn. i dont have time to wait so long on fast tables ;-)

i must say i never tried to restart PT4 itself. i should try it. but i think its related to mysql database rather than to pt4 itself.
after all its not big deal. few clicks to restart PT or reboot PC doesnt kill me. just wanted to ask as a lazy person who wants to use program immediately ;)

btw i am using 4GB ram and 7200rpm HDD as a system disk.

It sounds like the problem might be from Windows caching the information to your hard drive - unfortunately we can't speed up the time it takes for your operating system to read everything from disk back into RAM.
