Suggestion for note taking

when i take notes whenever the action for the table comes and i'm halfway through typing a note the attention from the note box is taken away... please fix this its really annoying typing and finding out that nothing you have typed has been added to the note. Its definitely possible b/c i used to use notepad++ and that keeps the attention despite playing poker. not sure if i can change something in the windows settings to fix this???

The note window should always be staying on top - I just tested quickly and that's what I'm seeing on my end. What kinds of windows are popping on top for you?

the window stays on top and that parts all fine, but when i have to act on a table the cursor in the note box immediately moves away from the note box to the poker table, so if you typing a note it just stops writing what your typing

We don't want PT4 to interfere with your play - if we stopped tables needing action popping to the front you might miss your turn.
That said, I will make sure that the development team see this thread to verify that this is the intention.

try playing 3 tables HU and taking a note while you play, just so difficult to do its really really frustrating, maybe have an menu option to allow the note box to keep cursor or something like that.

on a side note, how can i export my notes that i have made to back them up? great product for the most part btw, starting to really get to grips with it now :)

Note export functionality is not yet complete at this time, but it is something we are going to add of course.

This. Taking notes while playing is extremely painful.

But having the NE always on top does exactly that. I have NE opening up pretty big in size so if it covers some tables they can not pop up from underneath.
Please make the "always on top" optional.

are you guys planning on doing anything about the note taking system? is really hard work to type into the box while playing any more than one table HU, and probably same for 3+ tables of ring games (not sure anyone care to comment on taking notes while playing ring tables >4), not sure why but the cursor rarely stays in the box for more than a few seconds while your playing so i just end up having to click -retype click- retype and so on to try and get a sentence down.

i actually also thought of a great solution for player notes, imagine having a voice recorder prog built into the note system, so if you wanted to take a note you could click a little icon inside the note box and speak your thoughts into your mic and it would save the audio file for you, then you can just click your audio files during play to hear a playback of your reads ect. This would be so good, way better notes and less typing distraction while playing.
