Missed stats W$SD When Bet or Raise

Postby kydechuk01 » Mon Feb 06, 2012 8:28 am

Hi!
I noticed the absence of very good informational group of stats in PT4 which was in a standard set of PT3:

W$SD % When Bet or Raise Flop
W$SD % When Bet or Raise Turn
W$SD % When Bet or Raise River

WTSD % When Bet or Raise Flop
WTSD % When Bet or Raise Turn
WTSD % When Bet or Raise River

And less useful but also from that group of stats:
WTSD % When Сall Flop, WTSD % When Сall Turn, WTSD % When Сall River
W$SD % When Call Flop, W$SD % When Call Turn, W$SD % When Call River

Can you return and include these stats back to the default set of PT4?

Also the stat Open Limp will be good. I made it as a custom for myself in PT3 and now in PT4, but I think this stat is obviously must be in default set.

I will discuss this with the development team to see whether these stats were left out deliberately or as an oversight.

I'm told that these stats were omitted because they were only used in the Details report in PT3, which hasn't been brought across to PT4 (because it is a legacy report from PT2 which not many people use anymore).
If you want to add those stats to PT4 the easiest way is likely to be to export them from PT3 and then import them to PT4 using File > Import Statistics.

I just want to add that stat like 'W$SD % When Bet or Raise River' is very very useful to see opponents tendency to bluff/not bluff.
So these stats can be very useful to PT4 users and will not be an anachronism with proper use.

And thanks for advice about exporting, I will do so.

WR - Was the any reason that "Total Raise" was omitted? Or was this just an oversight... as "Total Check Raise" is still available. And on my custom HUD I used to include both of these stats as when you get a decent sample size on a player they're pretty useful.

Thanks

I'm working on switching from HM and would also like the "open limp" stat (specifically for the SB). Thanks!

You can build an Open Limp stat by clicking Configure --> Statistics and in the Players Stats section click on and duplicate Preflop Limp. Change the Details tab as you'd like, switch to the Definition tab and change Name, Title and Description as you'd like as well. Change the value expression to:

((cnt_p_limp - cnt_prev_callers_limp) / (cnt_p_limp_opp - cnt_p_facing_limpers)) * 100

Save the stat.

Now you can add that stat to any report showing a breakdown by Position and you'll see your SB only values. If you want to see that in the HUD, you can add it to the HUD now as any other stat and once you do if you click on it you can change the Position value in the Item Properties area to Small Blind an you'll see that value for the small blind only in that spot.
