HUD stats don't seem to be updating correctly

Postby debpes » Fri Feb 03, 2012 10:47 pm

I'm playing a home game in PS against players I've played before. Some of the player stats show that we have history (no. of hands), but not all. One player in particular at this table, showed that I had no hands on him (tho I did). When we switched together to a new table, his stats reset to zero.

Any idea what this might be?

The HUD behaviour could be caused by the 'number of players filtered' setting in the HUD Options. Check out 'Player Ranges' in the PT3 Tutorial: Configuring HUD Options for an explanation of this. Ranges work in the same way in PT4, but in previous versions we had ranges enabled by default. These have now been removed because they were causing confusion, but you may still have them set up.

Thank you.

Interesting; a section of HUD options that I hadn't really paid much attention to before. I've removed all the ranges and we'll see if that takes care of the problem.

I'm still running into this, even though I have deleted the Number of Players Filtered settings.

This is all on Merge. A player that I have almost 700 hands on showed up in the HUD as having only 6 hands.

Choosing Set All to Lifetime stats (which I assume means that I show the stats of the players at my table to include all their history, not just from the current session) didn't help.

In the replayer, this player is showing up correctly.

Any thoughts?

Are you certain at the table that you were looking at the correct player's stats? If there were a stat rotation issue you could see 6 hands for someone else that might have been accurate.

I specifically noticed that I need to wait a few hands before the stats rotate to the correct position. So sorry to say that I'm sure this isn't the issue.

I had thought that perhaps I was seeing players from one stake that I had played with who moved up in stakes. Maybe somehow I wasn't seeing previous stakes. But this also doesn't explain it since one of the players that I noticed I seemed to be missing hands on (in the HUD) ended up only playing against me in one stake level.

Has anyone else reported something similar?

Not that I'm aware of - please restart PT4 and reproduce the problem at a single table (if you can, or as few as possible) and attach the PokerTracker4.log file from C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\ (which you can access from the PT4 File menu) to a Support Ticket along with a screenshot of what you're seeing in the HUD. Identify the player you see the problem with and tell us how many hands you have on them in the main tracker.
