Can someone explain the set up for this I have gone into the editor and have had no success so far. Thanks,

Click the New button to start a new note, and set the name and game type, and what you'd like to see displayed in the note text, and then click the Player and/or Opponent buttons to define the filter for the situation that you're interested in. Tick 'active' and click Save to store your note.
If you want to display known cards in the note text click the blue "Insert Variable" link.
Have a look at how the existing notes are defined to get some ideas.
