PT4 very Slow

Hi,

I find that every page is very slow to load or calculate on PT4. I have around 900k hands in my database (imported from PT3). Even a simple filter like (this month, not facing AI, saw flop) needed more than 5mn to load the summary by hand for example. And the same applies to every thing, even when I opened it before I get the whole thing ready. Do you think there some way of optimizing it? I don't have any problems with PT3, (the same query took less than 20s).
I have i7 processor on windows 7.

I have the same problem. I have imported a database from PT3 (1,6 mln hands) and its pretty unusable. It takes ages to see any tab, graph etc. In pt3 everything run super fast. I created a new database and imported one session (500 hands) and it started to behave normally, very fast and respondive. I do use my old postgreSQL 8.3 and my computer is rather old, but still pt3 had no problems at all.

exact same problem as OP: windows 7, i7, overall very good config, pt3 running very fast, but after i imported this DB to pt4 (2m hands), but even when i filter to show only today's hands (a few k) it takes very long, around 2-5mins

Could you get us logs of those slow queries for today's hands? That might help us considerably in figuring out what is going on here. We have been trying to track these slowdowns down but it's not obvious what is the root cause. The more logs we can get on situations like this, the better.

basically same here... have an alienware mx17, 8gb ram, fast i7core etc. and my 1kk db is basically useless... hud is extremely slow, on some tables it does even pop-up the first 15 minutes etc... only thing i don't have in my computer is an ssd and besides that it should be very very fast... queries taking ages as well...

Please get us logs as well - things should not be that slow.

Same for me. When I go to the stats screen and double click a month to get the daily breakdown, it takes upto 30 seconds to load.

Let me know what logs youll need and where to send them and Ill do it.

Please attach the PokerTracker4.log file from C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\ (which you can access from the PT4 File menu) to a Support Ticket - Thanks. Include a link to this thread as a reference.

If you refresh a report after it has been displayed originally, does it re-display faster the second time?

No, it takes just as long when refreshing the page.
