Create a new note definition on the Edit tab using the New button. Give it the name you want and put it in category flop. Check the appropriate game box.
Now click the Player filter (we'll deal with text in a minute). This is what filters for the situation the player was involved in that matches the note.
So for example, if you want to take a note when the player check/raises the flop with no pair, no draw you'd click Player and add the filters:
Actions and Opportunities -> Flop -> Checked Flop
and
Actions and Opportunities -> Flop -> Flop Raises -> Any Raise
and
Hand Values -> Made Hands -> High Card -> On Flop
and
Hand Values -> Straight Draws -> Holdem (presumably) Straight Draws -> Straight Draw on Flop -- then use the NOT Selected button to make this filter show NOT(Straight Draw On Flop)
and
NOT (Hand Values -> Flush Draws -> Flop)
Then you can add the text you would want to see for this case, which might read:
Check/raised flop with no pair, no draw and got to showdown.
I hope that helps clarify how things work a little bit?
The Opponent button is to filter for times specific opponents did things - for example you could filter for some opponent having opened in EP to look at 3bet vs EP open ranges on the button or some such.
