discount to PT3ers?

Do the people who have PT3 get a discount on PT4 when it comes out? Also, will PT3 become obsolete or will it still be fully functioning when PT4 comes out?

The exact upgrade cost has not been released yet but I've been assured it will be very reasonable for PT3 users.
We will continue to support PT3 for some time after PT4 is released with bug fixes though no new features will be coming for PT3.
