major discrepancy - fold to 3b stat.

i've been using PT4 for the last week or two and i just imported all my hands from that time into a new HM database. all the other stats are almost exactly the same, but where PT4 has been displaying my fold to 3b stat at 77%, HM has it at 54%.

needless to say this has caused me major problems - i've spent the last week being paranoid that i'm being 3bet so much because my fold to 3bet stat is too high, and i've been constantly looking for spots to avoid folding to 3bets!

for now i'll have to go back to holdem manager until i can trust PT4's stats.

Exactly which statistic are you using? The following two are not equivalent:

Fold to PF 3Bet
and
Fold to PF 3Bet After Raise

I believe HEM uses the latter - it requires you to have made the first raise and then only calculates your fold to 3bet percentage in that scenario.

do you mean that PT4s fold to 3bet stat counts every time that there is a 3bet at the table and the player folds, regardless of whether he is in the hand?

eg i am in BB, Co opens, BTN 3bets and i fold?

surely this isn't a stat that would ever be of use to someone?

There are situations where it is useful. If you want times where you made the open raise the stat you want to use is called "Fold to PF 3Bet After Raise" - the stat you want is available, it is just named slightly differently that's all.
