Newly created HUD pop-up problems

So i created a new custom hud and went ahead and export/import the pop-up from one of the default ones. All good but the newly imported pop-ups in the custom hud do not show. Literally nothing happens when i click on the player stats. Restarted pt4 several times and still the same. They show in the hud editor nut not while i'm playing.
P.S. Which is the latest version anyway? Seems like there has not been an update for a while. Is 4.01.5 latest?

Did you assign the pop-up to whatever group you wanted to have it as a pop-up?

no, only thing i did was export the popups and import them to the hud i needed. will try this suggested

Yes, you need to tell the on-table group which popup(s) to display when clicked.

The Tutorial: Managing HUD Groups is written for PT3 but explains the process in detail, and PT4 works basically the same way in terms of linking popups.

OK thanks. Any way i can reduce the distance between the rows of the stats? There is just too much space between the top and bottom row for my liking.

You can change that by changing the value of "Padding" in the Group Properties for your group.

but this also changes the distance between the columns, ie vpip and pfr. Any way i can change only the row distance? Thanks
