HUD Stat Retrieval Performance Issue

Postby oracle3001 » Mon Jan 02, 2012 11:46 am

I spent yesterday messing about designing a whole range of new pop-ups, taking advantage of the range of new stats and the layout editor.

My always visible panels fill very quickly. However, what I have noticed is that some stats I have in pop-ups seem to take an incredibly long time to be retrieved, while others are fairly quick, and am noticing half filled pop-ups.

For instance, I have a detailed 3bet pop-up, looking at 3bets and squeezes broken down by position [totals] and then position vs position. The 3bet vs EP, 3bet vs MP, etc when also split up by position i.e [MP] 3bet vs EP, [CO] 3bet vs EP, etc etc etc seem to get forever, where as the "total" 3bet by position come back within a reasonable period of time. As a result I end up with a half filled pop-up.

I have mentioned the speed of reports being completed, I am wondering if this is linked.

Are the stats that are taking a long time custom stats?

No. I have no custom stats. They are all stats which come as standard with PT4. e.g as mentioned above 3bet vs EP.

Do you have a log file showing this slowdown? If so could you attach it to a ticket and post the ticket number here? All stats are cached so they should all be pretty close to instant.
