Currency preview bug

Here's a small bug I found.
If you go to Database>Currency and pick a currency, the "Won" column to the far right (1 before last) in the preview table doesn't get calculated properly. It shows it in whatever currency you pick instead of USD.

bug repeats itself in atleast 1 more place, probably more (sorry! :P)

Cash games>Results>Summary>By Position> now in the bottom table, Won and My C Won Sums both show result in €.

After some more exploring, looks like every Won column sum is affected by this bug and shows chosen currency instead of USD.

That is not a bug - it is deliberate. Showing a total of a column of values in different currencies doesn't make sense, so the total is always the "My Currency" version.

How can I compare value with poker client for example if I cant get a total in USD? Sorry but I dont understand the logic here. :|. I need to know how many buyins I won etc, why would that not be useful? You added My currency so we can see it in €, but leave the default Won in USD please. Atleast make it an option then.

Only alternative right now is to select My currency to USD, but then it makes no sense to even have the option, because you see double of same thing everywhere.

Random - your poker client totals are all in USD $, but what if you had a mix of GBP, Euros, Dollars , and even Thai Bhat? Does that help explain why the total has to be converted to My Currency? This is not a bug, the only option is to remove the total or show the total in the converted My Currency.

I can see your point yes. Can we get an option of some kind to set "primary" currency next to "My currency" if one wants to see it in USD instead ?

USD to track all playing and EUR for my currency when I am interested in winrates and €/h earnings etc.

What I am trying to say is, could Won total be converted all to USD, and My currency to whatever we set. USD because its the most spread currency online, but you could make it selectable if it wouldnt be too difficult

That will no longer be true very soon. With the exception of England, the biggest countries throughout Europe are Balkanizing the game. France, Denmark, Italy, Spain - all country specific networks now. Even parts of Canada will be switching to non-US currency as the default within the year as they start to create regional poker rooms. We spent months on researching currency management - trust us, we really did nail this one. Nobody does currency management better than PokerTracker....

They have two options.. Comparisons in BBs (which is more relevant due to fluctuations in currency changes and stakes) or change the My Currency preference for the duration of the comparison. Note that the Statistics Overview graph does not show My Currency, it is exclusively in BBs.

England was one of the first that started "balkanizing" the game with british pounds being spread online.

I dont think we'll see any other currency overtaking USD before PT5 will be out. And if US legalizes poker and joins international community again, majority will be using USD either way.

I thought original currency would work like it worked in PT3, and then My currency would work as an alternative to it. But it looks like there is only My currency.
I guess I'll be stuck with USD as my currency and then having 2 exact same columns in every report. Redundant but apparently that's how you envisioned it.

Hopefully some other users will chime in as only having one user trying to suggest this cant be too convincing.

Another thing about currencies. In Graph there is option to graph "My currency". Are you planning to add other currencies, or why did you specifically call it that? Could be just called money graph or whatever was used in PT3 (I'm too lazy to check right now :))

As I said earlier, if you want a purely numeric interpretation of the "Amount Won" stat then it can be built as a custom stat if you're interested, but that won't be what most people want to see. For purely poker results information winnings in BB is a more effective measure.

PT4 has Game Currency and My Currency stats - I'm not sure what else you'd want to see? If you want to see results in a different currency then you can change My Currency temporarily.

If you decide to set My Currency to the same currency that you always play in (e.g. USD) then you can remove either Game Currency or My Currency stats from the reports if you don't want to see both (via the right click menu).

I would just like game currency (for me USD) to show totals in game currency as well. I can see my currency value in different column right next to it already.
