overall luck bell curve

Postby mave » Fri Dec 16, 2011 6:01 pm

hi, i'm not shure how it's calculated (hited on flop or made hands).

if i select filter to last month or something like since some date, it will draw lets say random three lines, but if i keep filter on all dates i've just see one small red line in left corner so i don't know if it's bug or i am so unlucky....
there is no option to select between dates so i can't tell. my datebase is about 4 months old and i have 109k hands.

It varies a little for each of the three options - but it should be a weighted average of flopping/turning your draws (for straight and flushes) and those draws having come in. You should see a dot on the line for each color and a vertical line showing you where you are.

Are you only seeing very unlucky for all three kinds? We had an alpha bug with that behavior but we thought we had it fixed.

Cash -> LeakTracker. Select it from the reports dropdown.

I was having the same type of problem..(I thought 100k hands was a decent sample that I would have a normal set flopping amount, but how long will it take to converge, millions of hands?) I am flopping sets extremely unlucky over 114,000 hands.. Straights are slightly over the unlucky line.. and flushes is not appearing but it is listed in the key.. I guess my line for flushes could be on top of another line.. here is a screenshot

EDIT: This is when I don't set filters, but when I set filters (removes about 10k hands or so), it's relatively the same.

Thanks.

I have just run it, and all I can see is a single red dot at extremely unlucky. I can't see the blue or green elements.

If you guys could, please run this report and then attach your log files to a support ticket. The log file contains the values PT is using to calculate these. It doesn't sound like the results are correct, so this will help us figure out where we're going wrong.

I just wanted to give you an update - thanks to your logs, I've definitely found some issues needing addressing and I think we'll be able to get a bunch of this resolved by the next release.

Damn, I was hoping that we could somehow blame my bad results on rigged RNG :P
Btw, do you still need my logs?
