Pokertracker doesn't calculate PKO Tourneys cost correctly

I always knew that pokertracker wasn't 100% accurate in calculating tournament winnings. Recently however, I did some accounting by requesting audits from pokerstars - which is the most accurate way. What I found out that in a year in which I 've played 5,000 tourneys and losing around $4k, pokertracker show me losing only $2k.

Having a good sense of your winnings in different types of tournaments is an important part of assessing your performance. So I looked at it more deeply and I 've already found a problem which has a big effect. PKO rebuys aren't calculated properly.

Consider the following example from a tournament I played recently:

This is what the tournament summary shows:

You finished in 300th place.You finished the tournament (eliminated at 2024/11/15 20:14:12 ET).

You made 1 re-entries for a total of $11.00.

You collected 1 bounties for a total of USD 2.50.

So, essentially I paid $19.60 for tournament buy-ins and $2.40 in rake for a grand total of $22. Since I won $2.50 in bounties, I lost $19.50 in the tournament.

However, when I go to my pokertracker database, the program shows me only losing $14.50.

Why? Because when it calculates the re-entry to the tournament, it shows me only rebuying for $6. Basically, the program is conflating the tournament buy-ins with the rake paid while omitting the money going to a player's bounty when they re-buy. In fact, when you re-enter a PKO, there isn't a field that bounties can be added.

I hope this is the only problem, hopefully I won't come across any new ones. If you want to, I can send you a sample of my hand histories, tournament histories and my audit file, so you can figure out any problems. But I think just fixing the problem with calculating PKO re-entries will do wonders in calculating results accurately.

Actually that's wrong. There is a field for bounties, so not sure what's happening. Maybe the program cannot add more bounties when one rebuys?
