Database Restore After Updating to PostGre 16

I'm having trouble with the Restore process.

1. Prior to upgrading to PostgreSQL 16 and PT4 v4.18.3, I backed up my database. I didn't encounter any issues during this process. In the instructions, it appears that only a single backup file should be generated, however, I have 5 files. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but during the Restore process, I can only select one file at a time. Do I just need to go through the Restore process 5 separate times, or is there a way to upload all of these at once?

2. I attempted to upload a single file for the Restore process, and I understand this process can take a while. However, this was "Decompressing" for several hours. Is this to be expected, or did this process freeze?

You just need to select the first backup file for the restore and the other parts of the backup will be processed automatically.

Which file did you select? The first one or a subsequent part? How big was the database that was backed up? It's difficult to say how long a restore would take as it depends on many factors but you can check your PostgreSQL processes in task manager for activity. Also if you have a large number of 'Processed Hands' and you've included them in the backup and have selected them for the restore you can try again with with 'Processed Hands' unchecked as these files are not required for your database to restore.
