Replayer: You can skip to the next hand you played by pressi

I was so happy to see the comment by kraada in this thread which was recently re-opened. How could I have missed this for all these years? I've been wanting this feature for ages as its so irritating to have to constantly manually go back to your hand report to click on the next hand to review it, and then later have to go back to close the original replayer window.

You can skip to the next hand you played by pressing shift + right arrow (and shift+left arrow to go back). You can find these (and more) keyboard commands listed in the Options -> Navigation area.

I remember now why...I reviewed that panel years ago and the navigation screen doesn't say "shift + right arrow" to go to the next hand, only "right arrow" / "left arrow" for going to the next card or previous one, not what I wanted and I then assumed PT doesn’t support this function at all. The navigation screen only lists 4 keyboard commands but I just found out there's a Replayer Tutorial and to my surprise it lists ten key commands, not four, but none make the next/previous hand work.

I’m running v4.18.02 and I’ve tested this on both my primary and secondary laptops, same results.

Please tell me I’m doing something wrong or how to fix it if the user can do so.

This is working for me. Are you selecting multiple hands before selecting them to be replayed and/or choosing 'Replay All Hands In Report'?

Guide: Using the Replayer

If you have only selected an individual hand to replay then you will not be able to navigate forward or backwards. For those hotkeys to function you need to load more than one hand into the replayer by selecting them first (via ctrl-click or shift-click) and then selecting 'Replay Hands' via the right-click menu or instead using 'Replay All Hands in Report' without selecting a group of hands.

Thanks Flag_Hippo, for your prompt reply. I played around with the instructions you pointed out and I have to say I’m more than pleased with the results and how they work. I only wish I had asked for help on this sooner.

If I may suggest…perhaps the instructions could be more explicit in the drop down Navigation panel as it only lists four possible actions and no context i.e. you must first select the hands you want the replayer to use before these commands work etc. Even kraada fell into this trap in the comment I quoted as all he wrote was to go to the navigation panel as if all the instructions you needed were to be found there and only there.
