SWC HUD and Import

Hi all,

Cannot seem to get SWC hands to import and display winnings correctly

Is it possible to have a HUD also when playing?

Any advice would be appreciated

If you are not using PokerTracker v4.17.10 please update otherwise please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue and then attach your support bundle and hand histories to a Support Ticket. The support bundle is created via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4.

Is there a way to track stats or results? I am aware SWC is in play money, but is there a way to see how many BBs, or set currency to play money for this specific site?

If the hands are now importing then statistics will be tracked. If they are still not importing please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue and then attach your support bundle and hand histories to a Support Ticket. The support bundle is created via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4.

I am aware SWC is in play money, but is there a way to see how many BBs, or set currency to play money for this specific site?

Play money has no currency value in PokerTracker 4 however you can see the results of those hands in BBs and/or chips. If you want to change the statistic displayed in a particular report see this guide.

I'm attempting to set up PT4 with SwC and I cannot import any hands. On version v4.17.15.

The log says I need to configure the site first, which I've tried to do of course, however it's requiring me to pick a player to build stats around form an empty list. From the digging I've done around attempting to solve the problem, it appears I must first have a hand imported before I can choose a player. But how can I have a hand imported if it requires me to choose a player first before it imports? I cannot find a way to export hands as a file in order to import them manually either.

None of the information I've found online or through these forums have allowed me to complete my setup, so I think there's merit to solving the problem publicly.

You don't need to choose a player before importing. Players are only available for selection in PokerTracker 4 after a valid hand for that player has been imported either automatically using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing' or manually using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk'.

What are your hand history settings in the Swc Poker client? It should be configurable via 'Game -> Hand History Options' in the lobby menu. The default hand history path used is:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\Documents\SwC Poker\Hand History\

The path where hands are being saved needs to be setup in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> SwC Poker'. If the folder isn't automatically detected you can manually select it using 'Add'. Also in that tab in section make sure 'Get Hands From Site While Playing' has a check mark. Once that is setup you can test this on a table by clicking 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing' and after playing a hand that should get imported into PokerTracker 4.

This helped. The setting is disabled by default and tracking only worked after manually importing the file so it could generate a player list. The folder also doesn't get automatically detected even after the files are there. Got everything working. Thanks.

Edit: A very simple article in the documentation for SwC that showcases the client and the setting and directs to the right hand history file that needs to be imported in case it doesn't work automatically could help others avoid confusion. For SwC specifically, it's also quite easy for players to default to the HTML5 client as well which doesn't seem to have local hand histories. Not sure how big the playerbase overlap is though, but it would be nice to have.
