I need to manually delete files from an unrestored database

Postby Ropolo » Tue Sep 26, 2023 9:01 pm

I have canceled the restoration of an old database, because it was being updated and I cannot wait so many hours. The problem is that I closed the program before the cancellation finished because it was taking too long, but some of the files continue to take up space even though the database does not appear. I also can't delete 12gb of temporary files from windows, which I suspect are from that database.

How can I delete it manually without affecting the other databases?

Why can't you delete the temporary files? If you haven't restarted your computer since cancelling the restore then reboot your computer and try deleting the temporary files again.

The problem was solved, I could not delete the PT4 files from the windows TEMP folder due to their size which did not fit in the recycle bin.
