All-In Adj BB : negative figure when we fold

Postby joeyfiuza » Thu Sep 07, 2023 9:37 am

Hello everyone,
I have just read this interesting article : https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... ity-graphs
But, looking at my own line, I've noticed that I have a -0.11 line in my All-In Adj BB column, although I folded my hand pre-flop. So this stat is measuring when players are all-in, but also when they fold PF, apparently. So how is calculated ? Just like the times, players are actually all-in as it is mentioned in the article cited : "It is calculated by subtracting the total amount you bet from your equity in the pot." ? Am I missing something ?

That sounds like you just posted an ante which would account for the adjusted result of -0.11BB.

Look at the adjusted result in relation to the actual result of the hand. For example:

When the adjusted result of an individual hand matches the actual result this means no adjusted calculation was made because the difference between them is zero. If the results of these hands were in a graph the green line and adjusted line would be exactly the same. When the adjusted result is different from the actual result due to an adjusted equity calculation those are the hands that cause the adjusted line to deviate from the green line when looking at graphs.
