pokertracker not opening, no logfile

Hi.

I am using postgresql 12.15 on Windows 10. updated to newst PT4 version. Tried disabling firewall, setting exceptions, deletin, pid.file. Restarting router.

Still it says PT4 ist running in background but no window opening. Furthermore using "logging enabled" does not create a logfile in the usual folder. there only was an old one from back in 2020 or sth.

Not sure how to figure out what to do as i cannot send a logfile.

There are also no postgresql related events in the windows events. Just some problems with searchapp and cortana which should not be related.

Are you restarting your computer after deleting the postmaster.pid file?

If you are trying to start PokerTracker 4 with logging while it is running in the background that's not going to generate a log file. Restart your computer and then start PokerTracker 4 using the 'PokerTracker 4 (Logging Enabled)' link on your Windows Start menu.

Same as before.

I tried running a debug tool. i get a break error exception after it is trying to load sspicli.dll.

Mind you, that the file is in the correct folder. Should i replace it? is that an error with your most recent updates?

You will need to make sure any debugger does not load when Windows starts up, reboot your machine and then not run the debugger until after you are finished using PokerTracker 4. PokerTracker 4 will not start up if a debugger has been loaded into memory at any time since the last reboot. If you're using a software programming environment/IDE, a software debugger or tools like that, those can cause issues along with security software. If you continue to have problems please open a Support Ticket where a technician can give you further assistance.
