Saving my PT database in the cloud

I have two Apple computers (an iMac and a MacBook Pro) and I want to save my PT database in the cloud so I can use it regardless of which machine I’m playing on. I looked at the tutorial on how to do it, but there’s no ‘Processed’ folder in the PT directory? Any ideas?

On MacOS the 'Processed' directory is in your 'Documents' folder:

\Users\{Mac Login}\Documents\PokerTracker\Processed

I’ve installed PT on my laptop and it’s aksed if I want PT to download and install PostgreSQL? Do I need to change any of the values so it can access the same database as the version on my desktop?

Putting your processed hand history files in the cloud doesn't do anything with the database which is stored locally on each machine in PostgreSQL. Storing hand history files in the cloud means you can manually keep two separate databases in sync with a setup like this:

Guide: Syncing Hands Between Two Computers

PokerTracker 4 doesn't support cloud or remote database access but you can configure two machines to share the same PostgreSQL/database locally:

When I installed PT on my laptop, it wanted to create a fresh database. How do I configure it to access the database in the cloud?

Ok, so I’ve changed the settings, but can you tell me how I configure PT on my laptop to access the database? I think it installed another database when I installed PT.

As I've already mentioned PokerTracker 4 doesn't support databases in the cloud. You can either store your hand history files in the cloud to manually keep separate databases in sync or you can have two computers sharing the same database on a local network. If you need assistance getting things setup on a local network then open a Support Ticket detailing your current setup and PostgreSQL configuration on each machine.

Ok, sorry. I’ve made the changes to the files mentioned in the tutorial, but I’m just stuck on how to direct my laptop to the PostgreSQL database in my local network.
