As already written above by Dutchraise72 and confirmed by Kraada, purchasing of PT3 in different steps, should provide according discount of 70%.

But someone who called James S, from OMGitzFRIDAY [PokerTracker Support]
Means:

The case is:

Earned first version of PT3 by Partypoker. Later upgraded to the full version of PT3, paid about

Is there any discount available or not?

Everyone who gets a discount (whether it be 100% like you, or 70% for people who bought PT3 before June 10, 2011) paid full price for PT3 (or earned it through a bonus scheme somehow).
You're getting PT4 for free having paid for PT3 - those who bought PT3 longer ago are also paying an upgrade fee (so are paying a bit more than you). No-one is getting PT4 cheaper than you did. The free upgrade is definitely cheaper than paying for the upgrade.
If you hadn't already bought PT3 you would have to pay full price now (which is actually $10 more than it was when you bought PT3).

Ah ok, sorry for the confusion. I thought that people were paying $30 for the full version of PT4 without having already purchased PT3, which would be pretty lame. Thanks for the clarification. :D

Apologies for the confusion - we've had it confirmed that there is no discount on upgrades for branded versions bought from the Party store for example.
I'm not sure about the situation when you have purchased the upgrade to the full version after that - I will find out so that we can clarify this for you.

The easiest way for you to do things is to purchase the PT3 Omaha add-on now via our purchase page - that will entitle you to a free upgrade to PT4 Omaha when you upgrade PT3 Holdem - and then you only need to pay the $30 fee to upgrade PT3 Holdem and you're all set.

i bought the PT3 Omaha add - on - and upgraded afterwards PT3 to PT4 - but now i only see in my account the new PT4 License for Holdem :? (what did i do wrong??? :oops: )

I haven' bought PT software so far but I'm really happy with PT4, so I'm not sure do i get free PT4 if I buy PT3 or i need to buy PT4 from community in the software ? One of your payment options is visa does that include visa electron ?

Either is fine - the purchasing options are equivalent at this time, but yes - if you buy PT3 you get PT4 for free.
I would expect Visa Electron to be fine - if you have any problems please open a Support Ticket and we'll get things sorted out for you.
