Correction. I'm averaging 10k/hour. Currently I'm at 1500/hr. I have nothing else running, not even anti-virus software. I guess if I only had 150k hands I'd have been done a lot quicker. :)

That seems awfully slow. Would you be able to send us a sample of what you're importing so that we can see if we can reproduce this slowdown?

That would be a good place to start, yes.

Nothing that is already in your database will be affected by the conversion process - all it is doing is importing more hands.

well i reconverted and the same thing happened. the only errors i have are concerning notes(why is that really?). but still i can only see 18k hands out of 180k in cash games.in tournaments its ok. should i remove the aliases and then reconvert?

plus i have a new non-existing alias (a nickname of mine in party poker is presented as a full tilt player with no stats- probably a bug).

Just a suggestion to the developers regarding this:

Since the PT3 DB import takes a while you may want to consider adding a text (in the setup assistant) saying 'This may take a long time, depending on the database size' or something like that.

I was prepared for it to take some time but it may be good for those who aren't prepared (just so they realize the computer will have to be turned on for quite some time).

Hi,

the database conversion was successful after the new update but i`m pretty sure that I dont see all my hands in PT4.
My overview shows me 8k hands while there should be 1xxk. where are the other hands? :P

edit: oh wait, why aren`t my allies not merged? see all the hands seperated for each account

Did you create a new database to convert into?
You will need to do that as the alias problem will be in place in your existing database so you need to start fresh.
While the conversion process is running please make a copy of the "Temp Import" folder which will appear in the PT4 data directory - you can get to that folder via the menu option File > Open Data Directory before you start the conversion.
If you still have problems after importing to a new database please compress the copied "temp import" folder (the real folder will be deleted when the import completes) and attach it to a Support Ticket so that we can experiment with your hands.
Please tell us exactly what your screennames are and how many hands you have for each in PT3.
Thanks.
