Notes and HUD and some other stuff.

Hi,

1. There is Text "VP$IP" instead of VPIP statistic in default Legacy HUDs, both cash and tournament.
2. Some time (versions) ago (and PT3 still does it), HUD in Zoom Poker used to show wrong people's statistics. I heard PT4 works fine, do i decided to try it out. Generally it works fine, but I got this situation recently. Can't give you any details about this, because it was just once.

3. The most important to me. Is there any reasonable way to get someone's notes (both auto notes from NoteTracker and my own) in PT4? The only way I found is to run a hand in replayer. Since one of purposes of tracker is to analyze someone's game, there should be an easy way to add/review notes in PT4.

4. Choosing date filter from the calendar widget in left panel. The calendar disappears after changing month while using arrows. To get, let's say back 3 months earlier, I have to open calendar 3 times or click the month name to get whole year view and the choose other moth. But steel it's not intuitive. Also after changing month, I have to open calendar once more to choose other day.

I also miss the way I could make filters choosing sessions by double clinking them in PT3. :(

(1) That is intentional - that's how the text was in PT3, hence it was kept for those who prefer that text.

(2) I'm not certain what you're saying here - what exactly happened?

(3) We plan to add more reports for player notes, but we have not yet done so - don't worry, it is on our list!

(4) I'm not certain exactly where you're looking - If you're using the More Filters window in the Dates area if you scroll to the month you want, you can then click on the specific day and it will pick set the day month and year. You can also type if you prefer to do so.

(5) We're aware of this and I'll remind the development team about this particular issue.

1. I didn't mean difference between "VP$IP" and "VPIP" label, but about stats values. For VPIP statistic there are text objects instead of VPIP statistic value. That means you get "VP$IP%" text instead of for example "24%". It's a small thing which I fixed in my HUD, but default HUD profiles should work fine. ;)
2. In Zoom Poker I got statistics of other people that were actually playing at that time. Not at wrong position on the table, just players that didn't play at all.
3. Can't wait. :)
4. I mean the calendar widget usability. I just found that this widget works fine in More Filters window. So to specify: in left panel -> Date filter, choose "Select Date", then u get date text field below with available graphic calendar. THIS calendar doesn't work fine. :)

(1) I don't see that with the default Cash - Legacy HUD. Are you bringing across the PT3 default HUD? That would have that problem (as VP$IP was renamed VPIP in PT4).

(2) Please try following the steps of this tutorial and see if that helps (specifically the ordering of opening things). If it doesn't, please reproduce this problem and send us your PokerTracker4.log file so that we can look into what is going on for you. You can find this file by clicking File --> Open User Data Folder. The file we want is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is there.

(4) I believe this is a known issue.

1. I didn't import any HUD profiles from PT3, and I know it was renamed.
It's Cash - Legacy, one of default HUD profiles in PT4. A screen below in spoiler.

2. As I told earlier it generally works and I got the problem just once. I can't reproduce the problem just like that, because I actually don't know how. :D If I notice such a problem again, I'll send you log file.

Try replacing that profile with the default Cash - Legacy version via Options --> Replace Current With Default. That ought to fix it for you.

Tried. Still the same. Default Legacy HUD gives me text objects instead of VPIP stat.
I also tried to modify HUD first to see if it's really bringing it back to the default.

One more Zoom HUD issue.
It's not the same as I noticed in 2nd issue in first post.
Look at the screen below.

86headshot86's HUD is missing and some other are placed wrong.
I'm sure I have already player with him and the HUD should show up.
A paid more attention to this player later and noticed, that his HUD never shows up. Every time some other are in wrong places too.

Please confirm that you have updated to v4.01.17 Beta as there was a further fix for Zoom in that release and that should be picking up all players.

Unfortunately your log file is not attached to your ticket. Note that you will almost certainly need to compress it before you can upload it.
Your log will have been overwritten if you have restarted PT4 since then, so please attach your log next time you see the issue and include a new screenshot showing a hand in question.

For your VP$IP issue with the Legacy profile - please open the Hud Editor, select the Legacy profile and check that the VPIP entry is a stat and not text.

This is exactly the problem I'm talking about. :? I even posted a screen earlier in spoiler.
I asked my friend to check this out on his computer. He has the same issue.
