PT2 stopped importing hands.

Postby shakeysharky » Sun Aug 02, 2009 6:28 am

My poker tracker stopped importing hands a few weeks back. It just kept coming up with "0 new hands imported". Looking on here the 7/8 patch sounded around the right sort of time so downloaded that. However when importing it never came up with error messages as everybody else seems to have got. I did the changing the "d" to an "e", now when i start the import it comes up with files found but then just does nothing (not crashing just never ends and comp doesn't sound like its doing anything).

Please can you help me sort this in lamens terms as i am not hugely computer savy.

thanks.

Install this patch...
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=21487

and make sure that the version number says 2.17.04E in the title bar after you do so.

You need to let it finish importing. If you have 166 files to process then it's going to take a while. Let it run, DO NOT kill the program and make sure you are using the "Move processed files" option.

Its definatly not importing. The reason their is so many files is just the back log since i have had this problem.

Restart the computer.
Open the auto-import window and UNCHECK the auto-rate on import option and CHECK the Enable Logging box and click Force Import.
Now, let it run.
If you go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder and open the autoimplog.txt file you can see what file it's processing. If you close and reopen the file after a minute or so, you should see it's continuing to import a different file the next time.

Open the File > Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window. Click the Select Files To Import button. Navigate to the FTP hand history folder and select one of the file to be imported. Does this work?

I tried importing just one file as selecting them all didnt work. Got this error message.

File contains no Texas Hold'em hands or unable to determine what poker site this file came from.

don't know if this helps but thought id add it as it can't hurt lol.

Open the Utilities > Error Log Display/Maintenance window. Click the export button. Save to a file name you enter. Now, copy paste the entire text of the first error message so I can see file name and every thing else listed there.
