PT2: download virus scanner now getting access violation

I installed and used Shield Deluxe 2008 Virus scanner today and it detected what it thought was a virus in the ptracker folder (some file named armadillo (sp?))

I instructed the virus scanner to ignore this yet it must have screwed something up b/c whenever I try to type a key while pokertracker is active i get this error and the program terminates...

poker tracker works okay otherwise afaik yet i can't use any of the query functions of the database as typing is needed to do that

just tried that and i'm still getting the same error... this time with a different hex code indicated:
