just installed pahud on my new laptop and can't get the cache to run. when i try, i get an error: unable to update cache. error executing"SELECT gp.playerid;;gbjfds;gbd;ijndf;gnfd;lkngjdfhniho;gd;klfnf"
the only thing i can think of that is different with the laptop is that i just installed pgsql 8.3 with no 8.2. would that matter?
the stats seem to retrieve ok and get displayed when not using the cache.

Yes, PostgreSQL 8.3 is the problem. There is a known compatibility issue with PokerAce Hud's cache creation and PostgreSQL 8.3 which we will need to resolve in the next beta release. In the mean time, you should either revert to PostgreSQL 8.2.7 or temporarily disable the cache.

Any idea when support for Postgres 8.3 will be out? I have this same problem.

The next beta release; however, I am not sure when that will take place. All of our resources are currently working to get the commercial version of PokerTracker 3 (plus HUD) out by May 15th.
