PA stopped working completely on Vista

Postby sanjstreet » Mon Mar 17, 2008 4:28 pm

I went to use my PA HUD a few days ago, it wouldnt open up. I open it as Admin, then i get a message from Vista saying

"PAHud.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notifu you if a solution is available."

I tried to reinstall, but i ge the same problem. I havnt installed any new software since the last time i used it, so i dunno whats caused it.

Cheers

Hmm. Do you have 'Data Execution Prevention' enabled?

Start->Control Panel->System & Maintenance->System->Advanced System Settings (left side).

Under the 'Advanced' tab, 'Performance' box, click 'Settings'. Go to the 'Data Execution Prevention' tab.

Which is selected? If it is 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select' then make sure that you click 'Add' and add PAHud.exe.

Best regards,
