fold postflop ≠ NOT Shwodown AND NOT Won

Postby preparac » Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:13 am

Not seeing a showdown AND NOT winnning after seeing flop shouzld be the same as folding after seing a flop, no?

but I get slightly different results for this two conditions, i.e.

tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_saw AND ((tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_fold) OR (tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_t_fold) OR (tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_r_fold))

≠

tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_saw AND NOT (tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_won_hand) AND NOT (tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_showdown)

It seems that the second condition includes some hands more than the first. You have any idea which?

Splitting doesn't count as winning??

Hrm, that does appear to count as winning. I'll take a look into this and get back to you.

All instances of this that I'm finding at first glance appear to be incomplete hand histories that imported.

Ok thanks ... this means incomplete HH are counted as Not SD AND NOT winning but they do not count as folded?
... I don't get it. How incomplete HH are accepted as valid for stats at all?
So let me know if you have more information about this

Incomplete hand histories shouldn't import, but it's possible that kraada has some imported by an old version of PT3. I think that his monster database that he tests this sort of thing in is pretty huge, so he probably hasn't recreated it for a while.

Yeah the last time I did a full reimport was quite a while ago. I do have a slightly newer database, let me check that one quickly and see if I see anything obviously different there.

I just tested a few hand histories that Kraada sent me from hands which he found in his database and they import correctly for me now, so it looks like they were caused by an issue which is now fixed.
