weighted Average in PT3

Postby htl78 » Sun May 25, 2008 6:20 am

How is the average WSF win % calculated in PT3 for all hands in the hand tab? I did a weighted average in excel from data I exported and the values did not match. I suspect the software is somehow neglecting 0 values. The weighted average would still associate them to the average if a hand was played, but had no win yet. Would the software be throwing that value out if I played a had, saw the flop, but did not win? This would be a flaw in the calculation.

Also, with filters, I suspect I could have never see the flop and yet have it appear in the results. Is this true?

Curious because all the weighted averages done so far are lower than the software shows. Thank you for any input.

How do you filter out hands that you did NOT see the flop with? PT2 had this option, but can not find it in PT3.

You are talking about the "Won $ When Saw Flop" stat, yes?
This is the percentage of times you won money when you saw the flop. This includes split pots when you won money.
What do you mean by "weighted average" in this case?

On the filters tab, select "Saw Flop" and add it, then select it on the right hand side and click the NOT button at the bottom.
