pt3 wont load list due to no connection?

under cash game player list. red writing. says unable to login to database. connection refused(0x000274d/10061). then it asks a question, is the server running on the host "localhost" and accepting tcp/ip connections on port 5432?

any help would be appreciated. thanks

Please try restarting the postgres service; Start -> Programs -> Postgres -> Start Service.
Or reboot.

I have this problem too. Exactly the same message.

I tried restarting the postgres service; Start -> Programs -> Postgres -> Start Service

I removed the postmaster.pid file and restarted my computer

These didn't help me.

If you press CTRL+ALT+DEL, do you have any "postgres" processes running under the "Processes" tab?

What happens if you go Start -> Programs -> Postgres -> Stop Service and then Start -> Programs -> Postgres -> Start Service? Do you still not have any postgres processes running?

did try the start service thing again and then the cash player list loaded, but no player summary.

after closing and restarting PT3, did get the player summary in the cash part but not for tournaments

8-) After 5 times closing and restarting PT3 it finally found all data.
