My HUD problems got solved.
Hope something of this helps debuggin HUD stability.
My HUD during beta was allways unstable, meaning that sometimes stats from others and myself dissapeared ramdomly and not very often, it was somehow still usable.
On commercial release the HUD became totally unusable, neither my stats or others stay in screen for more than 5 seconds, and never in more than one table. Btw, playing on pokerstars.
In a final attempt i performed several changes on my system and the problem got totally solved. The hud is totally stable now. Not sure what exactly made it work, but there is what i did.
- Deinstalled pokertracker and postgres and reinstalled both on my fastest HD.
- Updated ATI drivers... my friends has the exact rig i do but with and Nvidia, so i gave it a try.
- Disabled PunkBuster, this is a videgame anticheat software. I know it scans for overlays since they are used for cheating in some games.
I did all these at the same time, so im not sure what worked.. but my bet is Punkbuster.
Thanks for the time.
