PT3 doesn't import hands any more and crashes

Postby Tweetle » Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:47 pm

Hello, PT3 suddenly doesn't import hands any more. instead it writes this over and over again in the log file:

Code: Select all
2008/04/28 23:31:12.875: [- Main -][PostgresConnection (Error)] Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (FEHLER:  doppelter Schlüsselwert verletzt Unique-Constraint »hhs-unique_hand_no« CONTEXT:  COPY holdem_hand_summary, Zeile 1: »559   100   1   9   17059761975   2008/04/28 20:31:38   2008/04/28 23:30:36   4   2   2   2   187.10   2.00   0.50   210   97   1   5   ...« )
2008/04/28 23:31:12.875: [- Main -][copyInfo] 559   100   1   9   17059761975   2008/04/28 20:31:38   2008/04/28 23:30:36   4   2   2   2   187.10   2.00   0.50   210   97   1   5   21   28   9   39   f

When i try to abort it, PT3 crashes completely with an exception.
I'm using Windows XP and I installed AutoHotKey while playing, if that helps.

You have already imported those files, so you are getting duplicate error messages.

I have imported only a half of the hands in these files until it stopped working. The other half is still not imported. So what can I do to import the rest of the hands as well?

Are you sure they aren't being imported if you let it run for a while? Duplicates take longer time to check and import for PT3, so it'll take a while til PT3 has reached the "new" hands.

Yes, i'm sure. It takes forever to skip about 50 hands. I just dicovered that the session tab shows one of the four tables with 85 hands played in 50 minutes, but only the first ten hands are in the database. The other three tables are all shown with only about 12 hands played.

I have the same problem. It seems to be easy to replicate by playing in a MTT on Full Tilt and having maximum number of tables open. The HUD screen starts flickering, stops updating and eventually crashes. Memory is still ok, using 1.4G of 2G and the processor is not on full loD.

How does the import run if you don't start the Hud with it?

Nothing changes. It still doesn't work. I let it run for a while and I have now two more hands in the sessions window at this one specific table. But only as a number. The Hands are not in the Session Hands Window.

Try creating a new database and see if you can import successfully into it.

Not, that doesn't help. But I could isolate the hand that causes the problem by manually importing the hands. It's this one:

Code: Select all
PokerStars Game #17059902175:  Hold'em No Limit ($0.50/$1.00) - 2008/04/28 - 16:37:26 (ET)
Table 'Iduna IV' 6-max Seat #4 is the button
Seat 1: justjan23 ($115.30 in chips)
Seat 2: Spooks35 ($68.15 in chips)
Seat 3: # 1 DICE-K ($38.45 in chips)
Seat 4: Redwood9 ($61 in chips)
Seat 5: engan35 ($132.95 in chips)
Seat 6: Tweetle ($101 in chips)
engan35: posts small blind $0.50
Tweetle: posts big blind $1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Tweetle [5d Jd]
justjan23: folds
Spooks35: folds
# 1 DICE-K: folds
Redwood9: folds
engan35: raises $2 to $3
Tweetle: calls $2
*** FLOP *** [Qc 4h 6h]
engan35: checks
Tweetle: bets $4
engan35: calls $4
*** TURN *** [Qc 4h 6h] [Kc]
engan35: checks
Tweetle: bets $9
engan35: calls $9
*** RIVER *** [Qc 4h 6h Kc] [5s]
engan35: bets $10
Tweetle: folds
engan35 collected $30.45 from pot
engan35: doesn't show hand
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $32 | Rake $1.55
Board [Qc 4h 6h Kc 5s]
Seat 1: justjan23 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: Spooks35 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 3: # 1 DICE-K folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 4: Redwood9 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: engan35 (small blind) collected ($30.45)
Seat 6: Tweetle (big blind) folded on the River

This is, where PT doesn't stop reading from my hard drive and crashes, when I try to stop the import. But the hand is in the database anyhow and everything seems to be ok with it.
