The only way you get that message telling you PT3 will not run is if you installed a program that could be used to crack PT3. We will not run when a program like that is resident in memory. You will need to keep it from loading or uninstall it for PT3 to work.

Re: Problem with pt3

I continued with the first message that was shown...
Now I have a problem with another window that's opened and says about "Configure PostgreSQL database"
The boxes that there are are written with some clues.Name, database, server, user, port and password(I didn't write anything at all these boxes).

I click create and connect and shows a window that says "Unable to connect to PostgreSQL database.Reason:Unable to log in to database.Reason:FATAL:password authentication failed for user "Postgres"

Do you know what can I do now ?
Thank you!

If PostgreSQL was installed by PokerTracker then the default password is "dbpass". You could also try "postgrespass" if it was installed by another tracker, or if you installed PostgreSQL yourself then you'll need to use the password that you set at the time
If none of those work, you can remove the need for PostgreSQL passwords: How To: Remove PostgreSQL Password

I write these two passwords but nothing happens! It show me the same message!
I try to remove postgreSQL password but I don't have PostgreSQL 8.4.I have only PostgreSQL 8.3.
I continue to download and install PostgreSQL 8.4 and in install it says that I must write a password and I can't go next...
Is it feasible to create a new database or something?

Please take a look at our uninstall/reinstall directions here and they will walk you through how to remove the PostgreSQL windows user so you can recreate it with a password that you know.

I did everything and I think that the problem is that postgre at task manager there is nowhere!
How I open postgre?
It says: If you do not see PostgreSQL in the list and installation completed without any errors then:

Windows XP, 2000 or Windows Vista & Windows 7 (with UAC disabled)
Go Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL 8.3 -> Start Service.

Windows Vista & Windows 7 (with UAC enabled)
Go Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL 8.3 and right-click ‘Start Service’ and ‘Run as Administrator’.
But at programs--> postgre 8.3 there isn't the option Start service...

Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Is PostgreSQL in the list?

Then PostgreSQL is not installed properly and you will need to install it.

Is it necessary to install postgreSQL 8.3 and 8.4 or one of them? And which is better to install if only one of them is necessary?
