Confused about interpreting SnG EV graph

Postby KelvinKe » Mon Oct 10, 2011 5:59 pm

Below is a graph for the last 230 SnGs that I played at the $1 (45s) and $1.5 (9s) turbos (both mixed).

The axis is BB won vs. number of hands played. This graph takes into account of all stages of a SnG.

When looking at how much we're running under or above EV - do we compare:
- yellow vs. green line
OR
- yellow vs. blue line

Yellow vs Green - but for tournaments this line is not an effective measuring tool because of the changing value of chips. What you really need is ICM analysis - which isn't in PT3 but will be in PT4.
