Free Licence with Pokersoftware is ajoke...

Hi, I'm a micro limits player I wanted to get a free licence with Pokersoftware.com with their affiliate program, so I opened an account on Pokerstars. I played thousands of hands to get the 500 required VPP and never got an email from them, so I sent an email asking how many VPP I need to get the licence. The reply was that I won't get it because my account was on Pokerstars.fr... So desappointing since they state anywhere on the website nor in the TOC that the account must be opened on a ".com" room.

We've narrowed the hundreds of sites in the online poker world down to our five most demanded ones, and if you're from the United States, then don't worry That mean even if you're outside US the offer is available to me, right ? We even have rooms that you can sign up for. Our most popular sites are Carbon Poker and Cake Poker. The former makes its home on the USA-friendly Merge Gaming Network, while Cake Poker is the eponymous site of its own family of rooms; Cake also accepts U.S. users.
If you sign up for PokerStars, the world's largest online poker site, then you'll be handed a piece of software once you log 500 FPPs. Full Tilt Poker also has a 500-point requirement and on PartyPoker, you have to log 200 PartyPoints. None of the three accepts real money U.S. players.

I used their link and I was redirected to the PS.fr without any warning that the offer won't work, I feel like they fool me, If I had known that I would have chosen another affiliate program in europe, now it's too late, waste of time and money, really unfair...

Here's part of their answer :

"Unfortunately, PokerStars. fr is completely separate from PokerStars.com, and we only work with the latter. You're right, though, we should add the dot-fr clause to our write up, which actually needs to be changed a little bit following Black Friday"

So Mr Pokersoftware, if I'm right so you should gave it to me anyway, that's not my fault that the rule are unclear on your website.

Fucking poker business...

I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, it is against France's gaming laws for a site to provide an "affiliate" with an up-front payment which is why you are not eligible for the PokerSoftware offer. PokerStars would not pay PokerSoftware for your sign-up therefore PokerSoftware cannot provide you with a free version of PokerTracker; otherwise they would be losing money.

While PokerSoftware could have done a much better job of explaining that .FR players are not eligible, they are not trying to rip you off and are certainly not making any profit from your sign-up. I am sure that they will quickly resolve their mistake if they have not done so already.
