Get PT3 hands as docs

Postby biabia » Fri Jun 03, 2011 5:45 pm

Hey, I have 888 sites hand histories imported into PT3 but the folder the HH were in originally is now empty (if anyone knows why let me know)

How can I get the hand histories from PT3 in the doc format they were originally in. Can I do this by backing up the database or something?

Thanks

The original hands are moved so that PT3 doesn't need to reread them every time it starts up. By default they're moved to the C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\Processed folder - but you can see exactly where on the Auto Import -> Preferences tab. The files are all there untouched and can be archived for backup purposes as you please; PT3 no longer needs them once they're imported.

For sites which use plain text hand histories (and this includes 888) PT3 stores the hand history text in its original format, and you can see that for individual hands by double clicking any hand in PT3 and looking at the Hand History tab, or you can export hands from PT3 to text files.
