Making turn CB i3BP stat

Postby MoniesRemovalPLC » Sat Apr 09, 2011 6:35 pm

trying to make a turn ( and eventually river) C bet in 3bet pot (as preflop 3-Better)

i have an expression already for 3bet preflop then CB flop, not sure if its a standard PT3 or one of the crush the game ones, but its expression is:

( cnt_p_3bet_f_cbet / cnt_p_3bet_f_cbet_opp ) * 100

i have tried changing it to:

( cnt_p_3bet_t_cbet / cnt_p_3bet_t_cbet_opp ) * 100

to get a turn stat but i get experwssion invalid, point a donk in the right direction wil ya thx

"cnt_p_3bet_f_cbet" and "cnt_p_3bet_f_cbet_opp" are Columns, and you can't just change the names without adding new Columns.
See the Tutorial: Custom Reports and Statistics for a section on how to make a new version of a stat - you will need to make new columns to access different database fields (again by changing _f_ to _t_).

quick query, when i update my cache (for example after i just made those stats it says i need to update it to use them so i went ahead and ran update cache but no vacum / analyse to try and make it quicker) - normally its really quick and takes 20mins, however once every 5-10 times, it just goes into uber update mode and takes like 5 hours to update. is there any way of knowing when this is going to happen? kinda frustrating when you lose the cache lottery and want to play some pokerz

If you create a new column, or import a very large amount of hands, the cache will need to be rebuilt and the long version will occur.

To export your stat click on the stat on the Statistics tab (in the Configure --> Configure Statistics window) and click Export. You'll be given an option to choose where to save it - pick wherever is convenient for you. The .pt3stat file can then be uploaded to the repository.

ok cool then i assume that when it exports as a .pt3stat it also saves the relevant columns that have been built for whoever downlaods and uses it in the future?

Absolutely - all someone else needs to do is import the .pt3stat and update their cache and they'll be good to go.
